Amazing Eren…… Top quality work…. It does take a lot of time, but its worth it… This procedure can be used to create any shiny icons with the isometric perspective….
I wonder if it is easier to create this in Illustrator? ….. but PS definitely gives more flexibility.
The shiny gradient is very well chosen… ever step needs a pat on your back :) Bravo
Richie,
i’m glad you liked.
You’re right, 30 or 45 degrees of rotation followed by a horizontal 60% scale can be used to create almost any isometric stuff.
Thanks for your nice comment:)
Nice Microchip EG
very well written and explained
thanks
Ayaan
Step 2 is:
Go to Preferences > Guides, Grid & Slices.
Should be:
Go to Edit > Preferences > Guides, Grid & Slices.
Very nice tut. Keep up the good work. Made some nice stuff because of this site.
Terrible terrible mistake, you can’t just put the dent anywhere, it goes next to pin 1. Other than that, great work! :)
i knew something was wrong :)

Very nice tuturial! )
And how much time was spent on the lesson?
Great chip Eren! Looks so futuristic and cool!
very nice project. a little difficult but very beautiful.
im doing fine but the gradient bit makes no sence to me :( whenever i try to add a gradient it only apply’s on the backround and not on the “top extrude”
Jon,
is there any chance that you’re using the Gradient Tool instead of applying a Gradient Overlay Layer Style?
